Jacques is just one of many extremely talented disabled artists who are infiltrating the music industry and understand the obstacles that exist for those who are disabled. That is why the rampd (recording artists and music professionals with disabilities) initiative was formed. As a founding member, Franko advocates to make the totality of the music industry inclusive and accessible to all through educating the masses about disability culture, and helping showcase the immense talent that exists within this community. Even though Franko’s compositions are modern and utilize many techniques practiced by professional audio engineers, his methods are anything but conventional. Franko suffers from a degenerative eye condition that has left him with severely low vision. Therefor all of the work he does for the TV & Film industry is done utilizing various accessible softwares which enable him to achieve professional results without needing any eye sight. That is why he is heavily involved in the education of the VI community. His goal is to equip fellow blind producers with the knowledge they need in order to thrive in the modern music industry.
